Tramore Irish Setters
Whelped December 23, 2003

Abby is a small, showy bitch that only came into her own after her sister, Izzie, finished.  Once started, she won points 5 shows in a row including back-to-back Specialties.  At her 7th show, she won Best of Breed over top Specials, and finished with another major at the ISC Colorado Specialty.  Abby's litter by Ch. Galewinns Put Me In Coach (Bo) looks outstanding.  Her son, Pierce, Ch. Tramore Galewinns Mak'n An Impact, has had an outstanding career, and his kid's from his first litter look equally outstanding.  His son Kristopher is following in Dad's footsteps!  Abby now lives with Gary and Carol Thompson, who also own Foster, Ch. Gwyndara Double Impact, and I appreciate her contibutions  to the Breed.  My husband, who mostly hunts over Labs, thinks she has good bird sense.  Since I've gotten into this side of things, I may have to take her out some and see "what she can do".  She's a delight and a very sweet girl, as are her kids.

Polly Smith gave Abby points twice.  She looked at her head, and her eyes, and said she could see the "soul" of the dog.   The photographer kept tell me to stretch her out "more".....so a bit overdone.

Abby went to New Mexico and took points at both Specialties.  She has that same effortless, beautifully balanced movement that so many of our dogs have.  It goes a long way!

Abby finished with another Specialty major under Suzanne Dillin, who also liked her at the Michigan National, where she was placed 5th in the Bred By class.
