Tramore Irish Setters

Margaux is from our frozen semen litter of 3.  It is a tight breeding with many characteristics that we were striving for.  She is a chip off the "old blocks" and is sweet, funny, and liveable.  We love her.  She is a bigger bitch, with lots of bone and body, so is a little gawky at this stage.  Still, the few shows she's been in, she's done well.....once we've gotten her to concentrate on what she needs to do.  She was Best Puppy at the New Mexico Sporting Dog Classic and 2 weeks later took points at the Tucson shows.  We are also doing some bird work with her, and are so pleased that she seems very interested and has "that old fashion" point.  She really did look like the old pictures....set down, intense, stretched out and very firm.  We were elated, and plan to continue with the training.  I think we all are having fun with this, and plan to get some of the "older" guys out.  After getting her JH in 4 straight passes, she is now working on her Senior Hunter.   In the meantime she now has 9 pts. with one major towards her Championship

Margaux now has 9 pts. and a major towards her Championship.  She's slow coming into coat, and of course, we are still working her in the field.  We're getting there in both catagories!!

Margaux loves getting out in the field again.  She finished her Junior Hunter with 4 straight passes, and is now working on Senior Hunter.  We continue to have a lot of fun.  Nov. 27, 2010

Margaux has "old home week" with  her best hunting buddy, Bode and co-owned Rio (who is out of the Journey/Marx litter and lives with Pam Gale).  Just getting started are Treasure (Dk. Pink Girl) and Torrey (Blue Boy) both from the Justin/Izzie litter.

Such a cold, snowy, foggy day for training.  The dogs (Margaux and Bode) had a ball...so did we!
