This litter wasn't planned in the true sense of the word.  We were planning to breed the 2, who lived with John Gaudreau and Pat McMonigle, but they took matters into their own "paws" and decided to have puppies earlier.  We were ok with that, but when she had 13 very healthy puppies we reconsidered a bit.  We had just returned from 3 weeks abroad, and my husband Tom had just torn his achilles tendon and was in a cast for 4 months.  There were some lovely pups in this litter, but most were placed fairly early because of circumstances.  Fortuntely, one girl (yellow) went to Dale Michaelson in the Seattle area, and she went on to win the Open Bitch class at the Arizona National, and finished with a Group II and a Best of Breed over the county's top bitch.  To make thing better, when bred to my Ch. Tramore Galewinns Mak'n An Impact, produced a pretty outstanding litter.   They are still young but we think their future seems bright.
